These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CodeFetch service, operated by Everything Cloud ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using any part of the service — including the web app at app.codefetch.io, the CLI tool, the VS Code extension, integrations (Confluence, Obsidian, Joplin, MkDocs), and the shared-link service at codefet.ch — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
CodeFetch provides tooling for storing, sharing, and executing scripts and code snippets across infrastructure. The service is currently in beta. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, and we will endeavour to give reasonable notice where practical.
2. Your account
You must provide a valid email address to register. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@codefetch.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Accounts found to belong to children under 16 will be deleted.
3. Acceptable use
You may use CodeFetch only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Upload, publish, or share content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights
- Use the service to distribute malware, ransomware, or any code designed to cause harm
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's content
- Use the service in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or interferes with other users
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the service by automated means without our written permission
- Resell or sublicense access to the service without our written permission
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of any scripts, files, or other content you upload to CodeFetch ("Your Content"). By uploading content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and transmit it solely as necessary to provide the service.
You are solely responsible for Your Content. We do not pre-screen content and we are not liable for any content you or others publish through the service.
Shared links make content accessible to anyone with the link. Do not publish sensitive secrets, credentials, or personal data via shared links.
5. Intellectual property
The CodeFetch name, logo, and all software we provide (excluding Your Content) are owned by or licensed to Everything Cloud. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use our trademarks or branding without our prior written consent.
6. Beta service and availability
CodeFetch is currently provided as a beta service. We do not guarantee uptime, data durability, or fitness for any particular purpose during the beta period. We recommend you maintain your own copies of any critical scripts.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Everything Cloud shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Everything Cloud and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the web app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will delete your content in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date above and, where the changes are material, notify registered users by email. Continued use of the service after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of them.
